Base is a beast. Simple in shape. Simple but nice details. HEAVY AS F.
Lower robot arm and upper arm are nothing amazing, but nice and beefy for support. While it looks like its mixed media all over, it is all sculpted. Once the naut is place on the arms, it is nice and solid. Doesnt shake or wobble...doesnt make me scared.
Then the dude plugs in. Again, nothing exciting, but its a 1/4 guy in a space suit. The suit is done nicely and is mixed media.
I like how they did the light setup, but do not like the button. It is under the cloth in the very top part. Problem I see overtime, if someone uses it a lot and doesnt pay attention...is an easy place to find a dirty spot from constant use.
Damn thing is basically 3 cubic feet and probably around 125 lbs.
Shipping was like 400 bucks.

Does the white paint on the two robot arm sections have a slightly dirtied look on yours or is everything clean new white? The two robot arm sections on mine have a slightly dirtied look kind of like they've been handled alot, but maybe that's part of the paint job, like how they dirtied the astronauts' gloves.

Frankly, I have noticed it being "dirtied looking".
I can triple check tonight.

Thanks, it's probably just part of the paint job. Glad everything arrived ok on mine, I wasn't able to remove the base from the styrofoam though, weight is ridiculous! Kind of wondering how this setup is going to hold up over time, those metal rods running throughout are likely super strong, hope they are.

Awesome shots, blown away by Blitzways quality! My first piece from them, trying to figure out where the hell I'm going to display this before I can bring it home, not to mention something that can hold a 100 pound statue.
