Cooperstown - Baseball Hall of Fame

Any Baseball Fans here ?

I Have a cousin that have a summer home in Delhi NY, a little over 3 hours from where I live in Long Island. Well we decided to make the 45 minute trip to Cooperstown and spend the day at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

First up we get to my cousins place. It's a cool looking place, with over a football field of a dirt road just to get there from the main road.

Here is my vehicle that got us there, and she took the dirt road like a champ ! I was really cautious going about 2 mph ! lol

Ok, here we are, what a beautiful day it was, sun was out and in the 90's but not humid at all, would have been a great day for a baseball game !

The Front of the Hall of Fame blends right into the Area, you can walk up to it right in town it kinda blends right in !

They even have an updated standings outside !

The outside is well kept, and really gets you in the mood to get right inside !

And there are some statues so it's kinda on topic here ! lol

I got a bunch more pics to go so I will let you know when my last post of pics are up.

Hope everyone enjoys the pics, and if you are on the fence about going, it's a good time, and there are a bunch of other museums there, and plenty to do in town !

They had a cool mock up of a managers office with the door halfway open with a radio playing an old time ball game. Nice touch and a fun display !

I am a HUGE fan of the old Ebbets Field in good ol Flatbush Brooklyn !

I learned the original owner secretly brought properties in Brooklyn for 4 years until he had enough land to build a ballpark !

Lots of modern parks actually incorperate Ebbets field in thier design, none more than Citi Field for the Mets

The original cornerstone taken from the field after it was demolished in 1960
