Funny thing is Darkseid is nicely in scale with 1/10 line, if you can pickup a damaged one (broken cape) cheap you could potentially remove superman and display Darkseid on his own (just need a bit of touch up blue paint.)

Imagine this new diorama will be pretty expensive, hoping it will be on sale in the future

That's a great idea. I'll have to look at how Superman attaches to him. Ive always loved this representation, and this is a much more palatable cost and scale. So I have every incentive to make it work

It is doable, having done it myself several years ago, although (from memory) will also need to use bit of modelling putty to fill in the peg hole that will be left in darkseid hand.

Think I picked it up real cheap like 20 plus p&p, prob best to create a search on ebay for it and be patient for cheap one to appear (rather than forking out for some of the prices asked, as these have got pricey, esp the first release)

I sold mine on but should have kept it now that Ive gone down 1to 10 scale rabbit hole.

This is up on Sideshow for $405, which overall doesn't seem bad since you are getting 2 characters and Doomsday is a massive character. 11" tall. Labeled as an Iron Studios Exclusive.

I'm not sold yet on Supes face here but this is a massive 1/10 piece and would be a great display piece.

The flex of his tri but also his bi (other arm) looks stupid imho. Also not liking the S being so indented across his pecs.

Oh yea true, you all bring up good points lol. The arm muscles are a bit much. This is one of IS older pieces tho just resized down to 1/10 from 1/6 I think it was originally. Would have been nice if they adjusted the arm muscles a little bit.

The zoomed out picture of the full diorama, Supes right arm bulge on the bottom looks even WORSE for some reason at that angle. I feel like I can't unsee it now.

I don't like the position of his left wrist. Looks more like he's flexing his biceps ...rather than making a fist in a fight.
