Kotobukiya Scale

Has anyone else found the Koto scales completely inconsistent? Are they supposed to be 1/7 or is just a rough guideline. If you line up all the Bishojou statues they just seem to be random sizes and don't at all seem like they are from the universe. Why is this?

This was addressed a while back in April 2014:

A reproduction of an existing release does not take resources away from our development teams who are responsible for scheduling new Bishoujo characters.

This could obviously change but the smaller 1/8 scale Marvel Bishouo statues will likely not be reproduced moving forward. Our desire is to focus on the standard 1/7 scale.

The Catwoman Bishoujo will not be reproduced and as originally stated years ago was a one-time production run.

Limited-run convention exclusives (SDCC) will not be reproduced.

Store and company exclusives (BioWare Commander Shepard) will not be reproduced.

Bishoujos from older licenses (Ghostbusters, MIB3) will not be reproduced.
So, some statues were 1/8 scale, and then Koto decided to switch to 1/7 scale. I imagine a few statues could qualify as in-betweeners.

No idea. I love Koto, but scaling has never been their strong suit...

I own eight ARTFX+ statues from different series and they all match up nicely.
