My Marvel illuminati

Hi,

Unfortunately my photography skills suck but I have finally assembled the Marvel illuminati:



My ranking of the statues:

(1) Dr. Strange - amazing statue, I love it!
(2) Black Bolt - another amazing statue, but the base is really uninspiring. For all those who thinks he is squatting, that is not the case. You need to see it in real life to see how awesome it is. As I said, the base is not nice so not as good overall as Dr. Strange.
(3) Mr Fantastic - another very cool statue. nice sculpt - very dynamic and shows off his power very well.
(4) Namor - majestic as he should be. Nice sculpt as well, but the base is too busy for me.
(5) Iron Man - I love the sculpt, but the color is very two tone - red and gold and nothing else. I still really like it however.
(5) Prof X - For some reason this statue is noticeably smaller in scale than the others. If you compare his head to the other bowen statues you will notice it is like a midget head. The very nice and amazingly sculpted modern spider man has this issue too!

I still think Black Bolt is not right especially when you compare him to the awesome Madusa statue. Oh what could have been

I love Iron Man but just can't love any BD versions. Probably cause the high tech movie version has made the comic version look obsolete.

Could Fury be included in this and/or others?

Thanks. I humbly disagree with your assessment of Black Bolt. This statue is awesome. The i my issue is the base. Have you seen it in person? I was also somewhat ambivalent about it before I saw it in person.

Indeed they do - and I am a terrible photographer and did not spend that long posing them. With some acrylic risers and a better camera the pictures would look better.

Great idea for a display! Your display looks awesome. Have you considered having this group facing a BD-Planet Hulk statue, seeing as how this is the gang that sent him there.

Yes!! The planet hulk is a great idea. I just need to wait to get one at a decent price.
