Tell me about it Rob. I'm going to have to be very careful with my spending, otherwise I'll be eating pot noodle for two weeks in New York afterwards.

Heroes is definitely dangerous. I go with a set amount of dollars and never touch an ATM.

in theory, that sounds excellent.........but, i have a hard time restraining myself when a great opportunity pops up. I've recently gotten into CGC books, so, signature series stuff would probably set me waaaaay back. also, i think every one of my favorite artists on this fine planet go to that show. my pre-con list would break the bank.

I've been to cons where i tried to stay within my means, but, theres always some artist whom I've never heard of that i walk past and am blown away by their stuff. hard not to hop on those.

i hope everyone has an excellent time at heroes this year.

I think Dave/JG had a similar strategy.. an envelope of cash. LOL Smart system, though.

I have goals at cons, so I never stray from them financially. My only goal at cons now is a damned Pagulayan Caiera head (bust) shot to accompany my similar Lopresti one.. then it's Paul/Brad GotG OA, all the way!

Haven't reopened talks with Kirk/Carlo, because you guys all keep getting shut down by Kirk when you try and get the piece for me; frustrating.

Kirk's awesome, but.. yeah. lol

Having a wife that will kick my ass if I overspend also helps.

kick my ass = cut me off for long period of time = death
