Is it too hot? The castilene I remember didn't cast for doo doo... but that was 7 years ago... I know the more liquid the consistency is, the hotter it is, the more it shrinks and/or worse... melts and sticks to the silicone...

From, the sound of "it looks like my dog chewed it up", I would say that indeed the castilene might be too hot for the rubber. I have had it happen with wax myself and it welds the silicone to the wax and when you pull it out it tears the mold.
Not 100% as I am not there to see it... but if I were a betting man all the release agent in the world wouldn't help you from the castilene being too hot when you pour.

Sounds a lot like hot wax in a cold mold.
Try heating the wax to a point where it just reaches a consistency like heavy cream. If it's like water, it's too hot.
Also make sure your mold is not cold. Heat it up so that when the wax hits it, it doesn't automatically cool (causing ripple lines and other undesirable effects) in your wax.
Also -- Like the big Dawg said, casteline doesn't cast too well in the first place. It historically has a high organic content which means you need to ensure you've mixed the melted content up to fully incorporate that content back into the mix. Melting the casteline to the cream stage will help the organic content mix back in better.
