IMO the problem of the statue is the paint job. Lightining should have been more metallic or translucent. Same goes for wing elements on the cowl/boots. And the boots themselves need improvement. He supposedly has been running a moment ago. Show wear or dust and dirt. Make them look more detailed. Right now the statue looks too simple - plastic ish. Hopefully they repaint it

Ordering the classic. Love that Tweeterhead is respecting the collectors who invested in the Superpowers line. Think this Flash will display great with the SP statues.
Hope to see a classic Aquaman sneak in the near future. Actually think an Aquaman sneak will help Flash sales as collectors will see the original seven almost in their grasp.

Overall it looks ok. It didn’t wow me like Superman 2.0 or John Stewart but it’s nice. Definitely like the classic more since it fits in more with the others. I think the brighter red costume tones down the musculature too. I still think he’s way too jacked. The museum pose doesn’t bother me too much since everyone else is more or less standing the same. The base (aside from the price) is really my biggest gripe. The newspaper I could do without and the lightning looks way too plasticky for a $450 statue. I have to admit the price is hard to digest for this one

As others have stated, it is a fine piece. It doesn't blow me out of the water though. This feels like a pre-2.0 Tweeterhead piece. Personally, I liked the art direction of their 2.0 pieces better.

I definitely dig the modern version more, but there is something about the base that feels a bit too silly and busy. I'm really torn here. I want a FLASh to complete the collection, but I'd like the boomerangs to at least be removeable. Nothing can be done about the Ice though.

I think the paint did a great job of enhancing this wonderful and deceptively "simple" sculpt. If I was getting this, I'd totally go modern.
Pricing isn't the greatest, but it is what it is (as explained within the reveal). I still commend TH for holding out as long as they could with retail pricing and still being relatively reasonable compared to their competitors.
I also agree that the lightning effect should be different than the yellow of the costume. Some sort of near transparent resin or something. There's still time to make that alteration.
