What if super heroes and super villains actually existed?

My theory:

The crime rate would drop significantly. Crimes would drop for the same reason that criminals avoid places that are frequented by law enforcement officers and gun owners. The risk is too great.

I agree the crime rate would fall overall but I also think major crimes would see an increase do to the ease of performing them.

Hasnít stopped crime in the comic world. What makes you think it would in the real world? Our population would go down as there would be a lot more catastrophic events occurring.

Because, unlike the comic book world, super villains in a real world wouldn’t survive many battles. They would get killed or maimed pretty early in their (criminal) careers due to the level of force being used against them. That's a deterrent. Also, a lot of villains would be killed by other super villains similar to mob killings or gang wars.

When it comes to crime, I don't think super villains would fare any better in a real world than would ordinary criminals.

I agree that supervillains woudn't last very long. Certainly the ones with powers would be able to survive a bit easier, but at the same time might find it difficult to survive unless they are bulletproof.

Same would go for Superheroes I imagine. However, these with powers would find it a bit easier, but there would definitely be restrictions placed on vigilantism.

I'm sure there will be destruction. and where there is destruction, there is looting.
i want to live in a world with superheroes
i want to be this superhero
but if there is good then there is evil
I'm afraid I won't be able to handle it.
