I'm surprised you like the Vehicle Voltron more than the new anniversary Lion one. From what I understand there are all kinds of problems with the Vehicle one. The company is coming out with a Lion version too that many are wary of.
The Miracle Productions Vehicle Voltron certainly had QC issues on its original release, but I waited and got the v2.0 that fixed pretty much all of those issues. It's still a ----- to combine, but overall I think the use of diecast and the design is far better than the Toynami version.

The Toynami Lion Voltron simply looks like they took the plastic version, replaced a few parts with diecast and chrome, but retained the use of all the crappy joints. It just feels like a flimsy toy and not high quality at all.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

Yeah some people on other forums weren't pleased with the announcement of that anniversary Voltron. Same toy with light up areas, weapons, and some diecast parts. I still have my old one from the 80s. I've passed on all the newer versions. Both Toynami versions and that big one. I believe Toynami said that they are making this anniversary version and if enough people buy it they will finally make a new design. I don't buy that. They could have used the money from the last one to make a new version.
