Triumphant return?

Been forever since I've logged in here, but SDCC has brought me back to the forum. Finally started getting some display cases and here is a crappy photo (courtesy of the iPad) to show the earliest of beginnings to getting stuff on display. Hope to be more active here in the near future and get more stuff out for everyone to enjoy.

Cool display so far, Mal. Dig the Emma Frost & Aspen Matthews sections the most.

Thanks Griffon. Took me a while to decide on which ones to display first, but Emma and Aspen are two of my favorite characters. I've got several more of each of those two that are still boxed up in the closet. Heck, I could probably use at least 10 more Bestas to get everything out of the boxes.

The exclusive with the change out weapon is nice. To be completely honest, I've been so busy with other things in life and trying to get my statues on display, that I completely forgot I owned her until logging back in here. It's nice looking through my collection thread for that reason.

I'm still hoping to find in exclusive Magik from SS (for a reasonable price) to put on display with Darkchilde at some point.... But first, I need to get some more display cases.

Massive Basement Rearrangement, I blame Ikea

So, the fiance and I took a recent trip to ikea (her idea, she's a keeper, obviously). I don't know how many people actually care about stuff like this, but I thought I put together a picture series of the basement display area being completely redone.

To begin: The car full-o-ikea

And the original basement display (the black Besta to the right is new actually, started the pictures after I thought about doing this)

The new Bestas, before doors and mirrors:

AND KABOOM!!!!!!

Everything assembled and in it's desired location. Now the cases need lights, doors and statues! Also need to put the TV back together, rewire everything and put the furniture back in place.

Progress on the left:

Progress on the right:

And the big picture:

Add the TV back:

Put the furniture in place:

And just for turds and tickles: Put some statues in the darn things!!!

I have to take more pictures of the individual cases, my camera is crap and the lighting in the basement is beyond poor. Hope you've enjoyed watching the basement explode and be re-assembled.
