Yeah from the trailer it appears he survived Avengers. His death comes up in the trailer and he walks out and says welcome to level 7.

I think it's Hancock... 
I thought I saw him use super speed in the trailer. Could it be the Blue Marvel?
I hope they don't just start making up a whole bunch of new characters, and never have any of the long standing Marvel characters in this show.

I am a little surprised that it is not Luke Cage. To be honest I think the series would be the ideal platform to lay the ground work for a few new Avengers that make their way into the subsequent films. Cage, IMHO, would be the ideal candidate for this treatment as he doesn't strike me as the type of character Marvel would invest a stand alone movie on.
(FTR on a side note I LOVE Iron Fist and really hope that they don't sacrifice focus and development on Danny to squeeze both characters into a single film/franchise)
