LOBO bust

This is a very early sculpture. Sculpted around 1994 when I first started working with DC. One of a kind, about 1/3 scale. On the base are real chicken bones from a roasted chicken my wife cooked for dinner, which I gleefully dismembered afterward and boiled.

Not my best work, but it has not been seen before.

I prefer turkey, but chicken will do in a pinch.

That's sweet! Great bust! Are the bones cast in resin or just sitting there as real bones?

I knew it.... The gratuitous use of large phallic objects in William's sculptures can be traced to the very start of his career.

Love the bust William. And my God, was there ever a time when you weren't a brilliant painter?
