Mighty Avengers has been getting better with each issue that Slott writes. This week's issue was outstanding. I love the face-off between Reed and Pym and anxiously await the next issue.

Ah, a comment on a book reviewed other than Batman & Robin! Thanks, whd, and per my review could not agree more about the dialogue between Reed and Hank! Awesome stuff!

I was surprised that Spider-Man had an "A" rating (which I think is ALL AUDIENCE). The whole scene of Venom negoicating with hookers and the currency of exchange was a bit much I thought.

I am a fan of Mike Grell, is that who's doing it?

Mike is writing the book, THANK GOD, cause no one understands the character like he does (well, he did create him after all), and doing the covers (which are spectacular), but the book artwork is being done by Chad Hardin and Walden Wong ... who while it's not Grell are quite good.
He's brought back ALL of the classic characters, it's as if he picked up the book right from where he left off originally, but has reintroduced it in a way that new readers to the series won't be too lost.
I'm hoping that DC decides to put out some trades of the original series.

I need to read the first two issues tonight and see if I like it or not.
I know Ray Villifane sculpted a hell of a great action figure of him!

The action figure that Ray sculpted (which was awesome) wasn't the Grell Warlord, it was the TRAVESTY impersonation from the THANKFULLY/MERCIFULLY short lived crapfest that tried to pass itself off as the Warlord.
I would love to see Ray sculpt a REAL Warlord ... I'm having Jim do one for me.

I didn't think Ultimatum 4 lived up to the earlier issues. I've kind of had enough of pointless deaths for good characters (though the one for the character on the death variant cover was pretty cool...)
Also it's very sad that USM ended not with a bang, nor even a whimper, but with a silent issue that didn't work. A Bendis comic without dialogue?!?
I hope Ultimate Spidey Requiem fixes it, it'd be a shame to have two Spider-Men I just don't want to read anymore...

I nominate Hank Pym's last comment to Reed Richards in the latest Mighty Avengers comics as the quote of the decade.
And I agree with KDawg: Amazing Spider-Man is and has been a great read and is getting even better. Did anyone see this ad for Amazing Spider-Man 600 in the latest Mightiest Avengers?
I'm sure this ad will inspire many people who rant about things they haven't read to rant some more. I'm looking forward to seeing where the latest story arc goes.

Oh, I bought Batman and Robin No.1 out of curiousity, and although I'm not familiar with Damien or any of the recent Batman stories (other than "Gotham After Midnight," I liked the first issue enough to know that I'm buying the second issue.
