"The" Moore Grail

Some of you may remember one of my previous posts in which I revealed my 13/50 Wolverine Bust by CM.

After that someone else made a post ( http://statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=45549 ) looking for this, a two-of-a-kind CM bronze bust that mine hade been cast from.

Well from that point on I had a Grail. As with any Grail, to find it you must go on a Quest.

I'm excited to say that my Quest is over, I am successfull, and my Grail is with me in all his Bronzy Glory.

looks great as a bronze!! His hair has pointier tips in the bronze - are they broken off on the painted version?

As you can see, there were two bronzes made, one with the shoulder guards, and one without.

My Quest for the other has commenced

There were 50 of the painted ones made, half brown, half tiger. I'm not sure if a tip was broken accidentally and the other side filed down to match, or if it was planned, but both sides are the same.

Congrats!!! It is always a thrill when one finds that elusive collectible, and I am happy you have acquired it. One of Two had to be a bear to find.

lol...if "bear" means the same thing as "long and arduous" then yes, you're right.

Wow that is really cool!! I had never seen those before. Congrats on your pick up! Would you mind disclosing a ballpark figure about what those run for? Just curiosu, but if you don't want to say, I understand.
