HELP! How to remove Metal Peg

Hi, I purchased my Sideshow Galactus Maquette a long time ago second hand. It was missing the label on the bottom of the base and the peg went inside his foot when I tried to display it. I have had it displayed high (risky) ever since with the one foot holding the statue slightly leaning forward. Any ideas on how I can pull the peg out and if I do on how to make it stick so it wont happen again?

if it's metal, have you tried a strong magnet?

if its really stuck stuck i would try the magnet first as its the least invasive option. more than likely its wedged in there and you may have to chip away the edge of hole to get a set of pliers on the end of the rod to pull

if that doesnt work only thing you can do is dremel around it and pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers and patch up the hole.

im not sure if the rod is supposed to be on the base or the foot but then youll have to reinstall the rod with resin, aves or a combination. i like to use poured resin to really hold things in place in the bulk of the cavity then cap it off with aves as its easy to smooth out flush
