Yeah I know SS made one, bit the comparison pic posted was Blizzard vs. Catfish so I thought he meant that.
I found some comparison pics off all three of them, and while the SS one is considerably smaller (being a 1/5 scale) it's still quite impressive. It's nuts to think that it retailed for 350 usd!

The og 1/5 piece is great overall, especially the base and pose (IMO), but it suffered from quality issues. I've heard from many owners about the paint app, the flimsy plastic parts, obviously the temperamental light-up feature, even some poor cape/shoulder/something or other fit issue. All that to say, I'm willing to pay some crazy aftermarket prices for statues, but have never been willing to plop down the ~$1K for that one.

The SS one is a keeper if you get one without issues. They’re overpriced on eBay but you can easily sell one for $1700-2k because I’ve done it before. I own the AL Model LK and love it.

Seeing the comp pics I?m satisfied with staying with the Catfish Arthas. If Blizzard throws another 50% sale I may grab one. I admit, the Blizzard one holds up in size next to the catfish piece better than I thought.
I wish someone would make a true 1/4 Illidan. Maybe in this pose?..

Received mine. No issues that I can see. For half off, it’s a very good piece. It’s massive and heavy for a blizzard statue. I can see where they were going with the base. Frozen… dirty iced… which is dull in reality.
They could have instead made it look like the scourge was coming out of the ice, and the ice could have been that bright glacier blue that Catfish had. If they did, this would have been a top tier piece.
It’s really not bad at all. Especially if this is your first Lich King piece (like me).
I knew what I was getting going in (the good thing about Blizz statues… they have always been 1:1 or greater than proto), but my only real gripe is Frostmourne. It looks very good … but it is *incredibly* flimsy. It’s plastic. Not even a thick plastic … a hollow thin piece of plastic. Really wish they would have casted it in some type of metal. Could be many reasons why they didn’t , but you better watch it …. It’s good to display, but if that sword is ever knocked the wrong way, it’s either breaking or bending (at the least).
Definitely holding onto it

I think Catfish did one?
Anyone looking to branch out in their Arthas related pieces?

The size comparison to the Sideshow one is crazy. I couldn't believe it when I set them side by side. Looks like 1/5 or 1/6 vs 1/4. The picture doesn't do the mass justice.
edit: no breaks thankfully! And I just need to add the last few base pieces in.
Also, there's no perspective issue in the photo, the bodies of the pieces were placed side by side specifically to avoid that.
