Damaged Boxed

I got my Hot Toys IM Battle Damage from Sideshow with the box on the outside really banged up with a tear and hole but when I opened it the Hot Toys boxed seemed ok except for a small dent (less than a size of a dime). Are boxes a key part of the collectibel factor with Hot Toys?

Battle damaged box! I'd say with Hot Toys the box is important considering how well they can be re-boxed to be sold in the future.
