I can't really explain why but I just do not like the pose and I especially don't lik
I can't really explain why but I just do not like the pose and I especially don't like the regular head sculpt. I was hoping for a brow more like these attached. Is there any chance they can offer new head sculpts?

Probably no chance, but why not ask in the Ask Tweeter head thread?
This version is great IMO. I like being able to see his eyes and if his head was done the way you want it they'd be covered in shadow. As for the pose, I've seen two other MM custom statues that are very similar, so it must come from somewhere.

The maquette has a pretty good, thick brow, I think. Lighting might make all the difference with that detail. If he's lit from above, I bet it looks more pronounced.

This is how I'd have preferred seeing him.
I think the pose of the statue is from his goofy days with JLI.
As for the head sculpt, I'd say JLI as well. Kevin McGuire I guess. I think and I know it will sound bad but I think he looks like a green African American instead of Martian Manhunter. I think I'd always envisioned a black guy playing the Martian Manhunter in the movies and TV but I still thought he'd look more like he does in this image.

You might be right. I've seen pictures of the Supergirl statue that I thought looked ok but someone posted a frontal close up of her face and it looks pretty bad.
I might have liked this better had he been making a fist instead.

You're obviously a bigger Perez fan than a McGuire fan. There's nothing wrong with that. I am as well. I think you're spot on with your thoughts on this piece. It definitely looks like it's based on McGuire's art. I don't have an issue with that as I think the statue looks great. I won't lie though, I think a Perez based MM would've probably looked even better. As long as they make Deathstroke a straight Perez inspired statue, I have no complaints. The Teen Titans and Deathstroke MUST be Perez inspired.

If I had my way this entire line would look like it was lifted directly out of the Jose Garcia Lopez style guide. I absolutely love those drawings.
