To see what you mean, we would need to see a side by side pic.
That pic with Darkseid in the background is not really helpful to ascertain any size comparison.

don;t get me wrong ..i really like the darkseid statue and am pissed that I didn't pick up the ex head. although it looked like his teeth were grey instead of white.

I had high hopes for this as I would have gotten it had it met certain requirements..particularaly the size..A few other things I cant put my finger on right now..All I can say is hed look puny next to my other peices and this should not be the case all things considered...congrats to those that have this and are satisfied. Im holding out for my favorite studio to make a bigger badder version of Darkseid.

The majority of collectors wanted just a BIGGER, more imposing, Darkseid PFF. Sideshow is slowly catching up with what the current market wants. Noone is going to pay 600dol for a puny Darkseid. They prefer to pay 900dol and acquire a 1/3 piece. Villains should be big and especially Thanos, Darkseid, Juggernaut etc. The success of Thanos on throne sealed the case.
Collectors want BIG sculpts for such villains, balance between comic accuracy and realism, complicate sculpts and paints etc. PERIOD. End of discussion. This is milessssssssssss better than the atrocious Darkseid 52 from Prime1, but its so punyyyyyyyyyyyy and so many guys are going for Prime1's Darkseid. Its a pity

That's better. And yup, XM Venom overwhelms the SSC Darkseid.
Like I said before, SSC really messed up on the size of Darkseid. They could've made him a tad bigger ...not P1 big ...but a tad bigger and he would've been awesome.
