Mind baffles as to why the bases were changed. Completely bland and uninspired now. The previous bases had the street fighter name and a bit of height to them also which was a plus, and the bulbous look to them gave them a somewhat 'landmark' feel to them like how the plane traveled to each country. The height of them also gave it a iconic character selection screen feel , and when displayed together with the street fighter bases, would have looked amazing.

All that now changed for silver amiibo bases.

I won't be ordering any of the line now sadly.

I think the majority of collectors dislike logo bases and nameplates. Just look at the Abbey Chase SS thread...Imo if you have multiple characters in this lineup and they all have the same logo, that would be overkill and cheapen the display. If there's enough people that would want the logos I wouldn't have a problem leaving the bases a bit taller and PCS could sell some magnet logos for cheap to those who want them.

I understand where you're coming from, but I didn't think the interest in these small scale statues would be so high that people would demand such a change after what was initially previewed. I could live with out the nameplates and as you suggested, have a singular one custom made or something, but I'm very disappointed in the reductions of the bases.

I think the portrait is just okay. It does look a bit weird. Perhaps the facial expression is not exaggerated enough? It's like he's giving a fake smile.

Bases look a lot better but I'm still not liking the metallic silver.

Bases are a big improvement imo

I would have preferd flat black but the removal of the logos make them look much much better.

As for Kens face, it doesn’t bother me as much as some but maybe if his eyebrows were more prominent it would help.

I agree with everyone, face looks off.
It's been pointed out for a while now, but sadly no change was made.
I just hope the face and the inflation of Kens on the market won't kill the line from the start, it would be such a pity.

Yeah, it would be sad and ironic if a popular character killed a line that was supposed to be about getting some less popular characters.

Is Ken one of the one's that were not sculpted by John Cleary?

I’m a little concerned that Ken is going to torpedo this line right out of the gate. Face and eyebrows don’t look right, and both 1:4 versions of Ken are easily still pre-orderable. I’ll probably order Ken to support the line because I want all the other characters shown so far, though.

Yeah not feeling it due to the face. That pose however would have been cool for the 1:3 Ken.
