Ultimate Watchment

Hey gang,

I recall some folks looking for a good deal on Ultimate Watchmen. Prices on the secondary market are pretty high (between $65.00 and $125.00).

However, it's back in stock at WBshop.com.

It's $47.95. But with this code XB692, you get 25% off and free shipping. So the total with shipping comes out to about $40.00

Otherwise, the Ultimate DVD edition is $20.00, but with that code you get 25% off and free shipping, so it's around $15.00 or so.

Link to both of them: http://www.wbshop.com/Watchmen-Ultim...efault,sc.html

Nice find Dana. This is an out of print Blu-ray so anyone on the fence better pick it up or pay huge on the secondary market.

Glad to help out in this great thread of yours!

I have to wonder, however, about the order that I placed. I registered tonight with the site (WBshop.com) and placed the order, and got to the screen after the order was placed, which gave me the referral number. However, I didn't get an e-mail from them. When I went back to check, I logged in and there' no record of my having placed in order (under Account/Order History).

I wonder if I encountered some glitch?

EDIT: Just checked again and my account was updated. The order is in process, so it looks like I didn't miss out.

I'm looking forward to seeing this "definitive" version of Watchmen. I saw the theatrical release once (at the cinema) and enjoyed it for the most part. But after reading so many reviews about the Director's Cut and then the Ultimate Edition, I figured that this was one time when the extended version will make a real big difference.
