I don't know.... I'm not sure how much bass you can get out of such a tiny subwoofer. Of course, I could be wrong. Perhaps this type of deal might draw the "better than nothing" crowd. From what I've read, Dell has been trying to sell this system between $250 and $375 for a while now. The specials appear quite often.

When it comes to speakers, I need to hear them for myself to judge.
Speakers are like women. You have to spend some time with them before committing to anything long term.

The Reason it is probably cheap is because Dell has had alot of problems in the last few months, putting up wrong prices...I will say this though, if you find it on Dell for Cheap grab it!! because unlike some other online stores they honor the prices when they are wrong (Amazon does as well)
Last month my brother got a Panasonic Plamsa TV from Dell..$550 bucks shipped for a 46inch 2010 model. They also had the 40" priced wrong ---my Brother in law picked that up for $425.

Check sites like www.Slickdeals.net they always catch mistakes..I check there at least 3 times a day.

Big screen TVs have totally ruined me... I can't even enjoy watching the news on a small screen TV anymore... lol. I have a 50 inch screen in the house now. The next will likely be bigger. ...Yeah, I know. I'm a glutton.
