Gravity 7/10
pretty damn intense. SPFX was incredible. def was giving me anxiety and panic attacks about being in space.
and i liked how the events happened in real time within the length of the film. that was one of the aspects i liked the best.
but at the same time i felt that there really wasn't much to the film and would have liked to have seen more happen..
the dialog was pretty simple and repetitive too. but was def a cool film.
my only regret was not seeing this in IMAX 3D.

Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark 9/10

Still holds up after all these years. Didn't realize Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) was in this movie. Though he only had a small bit.

The Ruins - 8/10
I really liked this one. Seemed unoriginal at first but they really made the most of the material making it believable.

Serbian Film - 0/10 and 10/10
Depending on how you look at this one it can either be the Mt. Everest of disgusting films, or the most vile worthless POS you have ever seen. I have a sick sense of humor so I absolutely loved it, but I can see why some people consider it utter trash.

Kill Your Darlings - 6.5/10
The only saving grace was Daniel Radcliffe. That kid can act his ass off. Dane DeHaan was forgettable, Elizabeth Olsen talent was wasted. They watered down Kerouac, and Burroughs was unintelligible. I'd sadly, rather watch On the Road, any day over this.

Lizzie Borden Took an Ax - 6/10
I'd have given this, a lifetime telemovie, a higher rating, except for one, really important thing. The musical score. There should be a law, that electric guitars, or rock music, should never be allowed in historical/period films. I don't want to hear a Steve Vai (no offense to Steve Vai, he's an incredible guitarist) guitar rift, wailing on, as a horse drawn carriage is being driven through 1860's Massachusetts. It utterly ruined the movie.

Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) - A depressed musician reunites with his lover, though their romance - which has already endured several centuries - is disrupted by the arrival of her uncontrollable younger sister.

It's not perfect (why would vampires need flashlights?), but I haven't liked a vampire film this much in a long time. 9/10

Son of Batman 5/10

This was a departure from the source material which can be expected and was somewhat welcome as Grant Morrison tends to get lost in his own ideas. As a film however the antagonist side of the film just does not work and the characters, motivations and their actions left me scratching my head at times.

Damian, Alfred and Nightwings "cameo +" were enjoyable and well written. Batman/Bruce was also well written but animated poorly and I just don't like Jason O'Mara's hayfever throat Bat-voice.

I must say that this is the first DC animated film that I would tell folks they can take or leave. Also a word of caution this one is not at all kid friendly as there is a ton of overt bloodshed and a bit of brutality to boot.

I will throw out a spoiler as it really ruined the film for me and starts in the opening scene and plays throughout but...

Spoiler
why the heck is the League of Assassins solely armed with swords and arrows throughout? I understand the opening scene they were practicing when attacked but no armaments for Ra's. Really? Catapults and an arrow gatling gun? Wtf? NOt to mention that when they do go on missions later in the film they still only carry swords?!?!?!
