best airbrush gun for a begginner???

Hey guys, just doing some research before I really dig in. Im sure this question has been asked before so my apologies for that but I want to get into air brushing and customizing some of my statues.

Any advice on which gun to buy? badger 150 any good? How bout compressors? Can i just buy those $100 kits from ebay? Any other paint brands other than tamiya? Do you guys have any videos to for me to watch? DVDs? HELP!!!

Anything that could help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks in Advance!!!!

Got two videos on my youtube channel

you can start off with one of those kits on ebay, but those compresors are not good for and if you really get into airbrushing. Badger 150 is not that good compared to badger 2020 or the renegade line.

Iwata makes much better brushes tho, with a badger you will end up buying needles and parts thu out your airbrushing when i had yet to buy parts for my iwatas.

sometimes buying a better brush for $130-200 is better in the long run.

so if you are worried you may not stick with things, try a set off ebay that comes with those crappy compressors and a cheap brush.

jerseyfest had a painting class this year that you missed out on, not only do you get to learn stuff with the class you walk home with a compressor and airbrush.

Any airbrush from Iwata is great. Hands down the most user and beginner friendly airbrush out there. Start with the HP-C or B. Paint wise you can't beat Goldens or ComArt airbrush paint for starting out they are easy to use and won't clog the brush as easy.
