Wow, I'm as appalled as you are. Glad I don't watch much TV these days.

some of you guys are really reaching to justify slamming the show, I mean subtitles? really? your going find a reason to hate subtitles because you feel the writers are saying their audience lacks intelligence because of them?

WoW....

Did you read the rest of my post? I stated it was just one of MANY examples. I also stated it had another glaring flaw.

And where did I "slam" the show? I posted a criticism of the show.

My problem with Gotham and all these other super hero shows apart from the annoying love interest/ triangle nonsense is 25 episodes a season is too much. They run out of ideas and the narrative gets drawn and dumber as the season’s progress.

The 10-13 episode format is just right.

For the most part I do agree with you, with 10-12 episodes they can just concentrate on the main story arc for that season....

What happens when they do 20+ episodes is they don't have enough material for the main story arc to do a full season, so they put in fluff episodes that have nothing to do with the overall story arc...

Now where that really doesn't apply are series like Star Trek where each episode is it's own self contained story, there really is no big story arc to tell. They have a few story arc's that take up two episodes but usually nothing bigger then that.. Another example would be like The Outer Limits series..

Highly enjoyable show with fantastic writing. Really funny with some unexpected dramatic moments.

Looks like I was right

Gotham got renewed for season 5 and it will be the last season. At least we get a proper ending to the series.

Lost in Space also got renewed for season 2
