Grant Morrison's Action Comics.....huh?
I've been reading this book since the launch of the new 52 and just finished the penultimate issue of the run and I have absolutely no clue what is going on! I mean I get the basics but the story is so overly convoluted and jumpy I just feel lost. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I gave up his action run around issue 4 I think. It became a chore to read. Although I'm unfamiliar with his work, I'm happy that Andy Diggle is taking over next issue. Hopefully his Action will be coherent

Same reaction here. Seeing as I loved his All-Star Superman, I was really looking forward to Action Comics but gave up after 6 issues. It was incomprehensible.

Everything he writes is a convoluted mess. I seriously don't see how he keeps getting work in comics. His JLA is over rated, his Batman work was awful. The man should find something else to do.

I must be the only one who actually understands some of his work.
Joe the Barbarian is one of my favorite stories. In my opinion his Batman stuff took the character and sent him on a crazy roller coaster ride, only to bring him back bigger and better.
I will admit that some issues of Batman were a little harder to pick up and put together. Yet, that one confusing issue became a mere piece that helps to bring the grand story together in the end.

I remember when his late 80's Animal Man was a must-read. That was great story telling. Then ... something happened.

True, and his run on Doom Patrol is one of my favorite reads. It got me back into comics in the very late '80s

Grant Morrison is like an unsolvable rubix cube. Good luck.
