But don't bother with the sequel series - World Without End. It just wasn't anywhere as good. The books are both excellent though!

You could try Coupling. It has Jack Davenport (from Pirates of the Carribean) and Gina Bellman (from Leverage - which is another great show). It's kind of like a British Friends but includes stuff like one of the characters going to the chemist for condoms whilst forgetting that he was wearing a gimp mask, someone using "I have an artificial leg" as a chat up line (despite not actually having one), and a blindfolded strip tease in front of the boss, parents and a whole room full of people there to throw a surprise party.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah Bryan Cranston was great in MITM, as soon as the full series box set is out it will be mine. For me its the best US comedy series ever.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Modern Family. It's hilarious.

Oops just noticed it has been mentioned.

Coupling is my hands down favorite comedy of all time. Absolutely brilliant. Even season 4 was great.

What made me laugh was that the funniest scene in season 4 was the phone conversation between Steve and Jeff in the first episode of the season. This was despite the fact that Jeff wasn't even in season 4 and you only heard Steve's side of the conversation. Total genius!
