Yeah I agree. I'm probably gonna get this but I do wish it was closer to cho's style. Nice job on your sculpt by the way.

Is anybody else tired of the same base over and over? It's uninspiring and uncreative to say the least.

Main sculpt is great but a piece isn't 'complete' without a relevant base to establish the environment.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head. Gentle Giant need to up their game when it comes to their bases. The clear base is getting old. It works for some statues, but it doesn't suit this one at all.

Yes.

I don't mind them on the SP girls and the Honey Trap girls, but it looks downright stupid on the Shanna statue.

I would like a detailed base but I don't mind them just concentrating on a high quality sculpted figure with good paint apps. They are currently blowing Sideshow away in these categories.

I don't mind the bases, I mind that they scratch really easily. But I would have preferred an actual base for this one, even if something simple like dirt and some plants, battle scars and blood splatter on her would make it look even cooler, she is fighting deadly dinos, I would expect a couple scratches on both, and the ground.

If not too expensive I might do something to give it that extra umpf...I am dreading the prices though I keep looking at it thinking they are going to charge $500-$600, which I wouldn't even consider.

probably would remove the gloss to the lips too, she wouldn't have lipstick and gloss where she is at, but understand why the did it.

I like the simplicity of the clear base. It puts the focus on the statue itself. I think it works for now with the quality of the statues. Or for their high end statues. Besides, ask Gentle Giant for a highly detailed base like the statue and they will respond with a $1000 price tag...
