Thanks for humoring me, though I might have been unclear. I’m fine with some space in the front of the shoe if that’s just the shape of the boot or it’s obvious that contact is being made with the heel. My point was, on the right foot, which is angled downward so that the heel is up in the air, the front part
should have contact with the base, but there does not appear to be
any contact with the base. So that it looks like you could slide something entirely underneath. If that’s just how it is, then that’s just how it is. But numerous people have said theirs is perfectly flush. Its unclear to me if that means just like yours or what I had pictured in my own, possibly deluded, imagination.
