Faux Bronze...Opinions?
I've never actually seen one of the Faux Bronze's in person, how are they?
They look great in photos, and I've been thinking of picking one up but then I saw a pic of one of the FB Hulks under bright lights, and it looked really metallic and cheap/cheezy. Could have just been a crappy over-processed photo, but it scared me away from taking a chance on one, especially since they are expensive now.
What's the consensus on them?

Used to have the Classic Thor Faux Bromze. Really wish I would’ve kept it.

I am not a fan of bronze in general but I have seen many pictures of collectors who had multiple Bowen Bronze statues and they looked fantastic. It seems that anyone who do own them or ever owned them always liked them alot.

I like them, but never pulled the trigger on any. I spent enough $$ getting the painted pieces, didn't want to add the cost of the FB also. lol

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Have 7 of them CA, sub mar, SS, iron man, spiderman, thor , DD, thor is the best. Some of the characters i would have preferred normal paint job but purchased for the character. Still no regrets.

Definitely worth getting. I used to have several of them and sold.most off, but I missed them so.i ended up buying some back. They really do.look better when displayed together, although even some display well by themselves. Hulk definitely does not look.cheap must have been the lighting of that pic. Many of them look far better in person than pics can show. For example, I just got mephisto and he looks far.better in person. Which were you thinking of getting? I have owned most of them so may be able to offer some insight on many of them. Here is a shelf with some of my favorites

Hulk does not look cheap. It's one of the best faux bronzes

Wish they would’ve produced that Beta Ray Bill and Doctor Strange in FB. Those prototypes were all kinds of awesome.

I agree 100%. I am planning to have one of my ultimate cap statues painted as faux bronze, getting thanos with a lighter shade of blue, and having some burgundy added to the costume of my faux bronze juggs to add some color to him. I believe there was also supposed to be a nick fury as well that never made it. My buddy was really wanting that Dr Strange and I would love to have BRB to go with my thor
