As a fan of the book I found the movie disappointing. I found Pennywise very one dimensional and not very manipulative. Seems like he could barely talk in the movie. The whole thing with the kids actually floating was kinda odd too. Pennywise's name wasn't even know until the last scene of the movie. Plus there is no way he would go down that easy. I was hoping this version would be closer to the book. I'm disappointed that within 20 minutes into it it started veering away from the source material.
