Hey all,
I'm getting close to completing my custom base. I haven't made my mind up and need input please..
1.make a rug and put it under him and drape it over the front like in the movie. My dilemma is that I scaled down the base so most of it will be covered by rug and all my hard work on the rocks will be for not.
2. Lighter bronze logo. I would float it off the surface with pins instead of gluing it right to the rocks.
3.same as above, darker weathered finish. (See pics)
4. No logo, no rug.

I wanted to do this from the start, but the base would have cost as much as the figure.

That is quite a compliment coming from the man himself!
The Conan box is already the size of a small refrigerator. I couldn't imagine what it would have been like if you included a giant stone base!

Very nice. I would add the logo. I don't think any carpet or rug is needed with that base.

Thank you everyone for your input. I have decided to attach the logo with hidden magnets so that I can remove it. I am also going to make the rug so that I have different display options.
