Well, Pérez drew eyes/irises for Hawkman and Hawkwoman, but GarcÃ-a-López didn't. And some artists of the time drew eyes for Hawkman, but not Hawkwoman. I could kinda see either working.

With a mask such as this, I prefer the white eyes look. Just personal preference.
