Considering the animated D&D diorama I preordered, I would love to see some animated dioramas for The Hobbit.

While that's undeniably true, it's not really a fair comparison, since the Asmus is a 1:6 figure and this is a mere 1:10 piece.

I´m hoping that this will be like the Jurassic Park line, with dioramas representing scenes of the movie.

Considering the Frodo teaser and the fact that they show the scene where the hobbits hide from the Nazgul in the video teaser, I would love if it was something based on this:



But I think it´s more likely that they will make them in a way where they can also sell them as individual pieces. Well, we have only a few more days to find out.

So now that I finished my fellowship from Asmus, this is coming along!

Given Frodo's expression, and what they've done with JP, Ghostbusters, and D&D, I expect a diorama type range. The Wraith scene, or anything else is way better than just having the fellowship walking single file.

Likeness is not terrible, and not a dealbreaker if they deliver.
