Anybody else find it infuriating that most prebuilt frames come in at 11.75 x 36 for some unknown reason even though prints are always 12x36?

Ya, Im looking for a 12x36 for my newly acquired Fortress of Solitude. Cant find one anywhere

I was actually thinking of picking up a 11.75 x 36 and then on the inside just use a sander and take off an eighth on each side. You wouldnt be able to tell at all from the outside.

Looks like its either that or shell out a butt load of cash for a custom frame and matt.

Prevail, try americanframe.com. I was referred there awhile back. Relatively inexpensive and easy to assemble. You can always float it in a larger store bought frame too. Most of Englerts are 12"x36" so I feel your pain.

I believe I posted a North by Northwest print before. The same guy released prints for the Star Wars Original Trilogy and Indiana Jones Trilogy in the same follow events pattern for Gallery 1988. I haven't given them a good look yet but some here might be interested.

Yeah, it's correct. It was a timed release. Meaning they had a window that opened and closed at specific times and how ever many orders were placed in that time would set the ES.
