I see the pose is slightly changed from the prototype. The original had her two arms hyperextended as if she was leaning forward out of the saddle. Had a little more exuberance/playfulness to me. The final is a more resting pose. I think I prefer the original one shown.

Skirt color changed. It was blue last year at SDCC.

Probably because the most well-known color pics of it are actually stills and set photos colorized that way, and that stuck:
