DC Super Heroes: Nightwing Bust by Jim Lee

Appearing in the latest solicitations by DC:

DESIGNED BY JIM LEE
SCULPTED BY JAMES SHOOP
The defender of Blüdhaven is ready to take on any foe in this intricately sculpted bust designed by superstar artist Jim Lee!
Limited Edition of 2500
Measures Approximately 6" Tall
$49.95 US • On Sale May 2015 * Allocations May Occur

And just for fun, the original artwork Lee posted on his Facebook account:

I think we now have Batman, Green Arrow, Flash and now Nightwing for this line. There's also a "Super Villains" equivalent with Deathstroke and Harley Quinn (two variants).
Has anyone been collecting this series? What do you guys think about this new one?

The paint seems to be pretty weak with no shading. The pose is too "Bruce Lee".

Honestly, I think this is one of their weakest busts to date.

Nightwing has always showcased more agility and speed than Batman's brutish style, so I don't mind the Bruce Lee comparison. Speaking of Batman, this bust will look sick next to his. I also get the feeling we aren't seeing the best angle.

What I don't really like is the weapon choice. Has Nightwing used nunchucks for any significant stretch? This would be better with his escrima sticks.

They've actually done a lot more than those. They did Superman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and a bunch of others before the bust line went on hiatus for whatever reason.

Ah yes, those releases totally escaped me! Jim Lee even did the designs for those ones too so I don't know how I managed to separate the two waves.
Thanks for the reminder!

That's on my "not buy" list. Don't care for the pose or the portrait.

If it matched the Sketch it'd be great but the face and arms look weird.
