Batman Sanity - 1:6 Scale Diorama

I want this (love the sculpt) but am not impressed with either version (and I have seen all the pics and videos on fb).

the coloured one is waaay too much/busy for me and the other is too bland.

I am hoping xm considers doing bats in colour and the villains in "grayscale"...sort of like the b&w statues. that would be perfect for me.

Suppose i'm in the minority but i actually liked the color on the colored one, don't care to much for the dream variant.

On the one hand that is what the characters look like, but yeah it is something about the intensity of the colors that isn't translating well -- understanding that this isn't final paint.

It needs to be knocked down a bit IMHO.

I can say this, I was at NYCC today (Friday), saw this piece, couldn't stop thinking about it all day and then finally caved and preordered it there. (XM is using a distributor out of Colorado and the preorder meant I would pay US shipping.) They told me it will be shipped in two boxes and are looking at a summer release for it.

I was also informed they think they are going to make a similar style diorama for superman and wonderwoman so you could have the trinity display.

As for interesting and charismatic villains, it might get a bit deserted around WonderWoman... just thinking

I don’t think it’s unpainted, it’s just not in color.

so it just has a clear coat? that is soooooo freaking disappointing

I was hoping the dream version would have darker more menacing colors. This is such a let down
