I don't know about anybody else, but I think bearded Ryu is going to be a hit when we get him. He just looks so much more badass with a beard.

Bearded was a brilliant move. The total ES of Ryu comes to around 1300 (including the Evolution pack and around a dozen AP per variant). Much more than any other 1:3 up to now. But because these variants are more than a mere color-swap, I'm sure a lot of collectors will want to own multiple. I know I want to display at least Bearded and Evil.

I have Evil and Reg on order. Had to have a normal Ryu to go with the eventual Ken or Sagat but I think Evil will stand out more as he is the only one with light up eyes. He also has the acrylic teeth and the kanji that might be done on his back. His base is unique as well.

To be the same price as both the others he definitely has some extras that put him at the top in my opinion but I couldnt just own him without reg. Hes too iconic.

Regular Ryu is the real iconic Ryu ... the beard is for SFV new skoolers

The beard is puffy and softens his jawline.

P1 is the only one that will matter in the long run, and Evil coveys the energy level to match Akuma.
