It honestly brings this community together with derision. It's glorious.

There are so many layers... Between the uninspired design from a designer that seems to only cater to hoity toity types, to the CEO of Sideshow declaring that he never speaks on any piece but HAS to speak on this, to how they thought this would be such a big hit that they led Sideshow Con off with this to much ballyhooed excitement, to how ever single aspect of this piece reeks of elitism right down to having to wear white gloves to handle it "because it's art, man!"... It's the gift that keeps on giving.

They really led with this?

Perfectly stated.

Yep, they sent a very pretentious email out and everything.

I doubt that these are doing very well for them. Brings a prideful tear to my eye

Don't really have a problem with the statue, but that video is hilarious. The dramatic "assembly" consisting of setting it on top of the base, as the music reaches a crescendo, made me laugh out loud.

More than likely, we’re not their target audience for this particular piece. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re spending additional money to advertise this on other platforms targeting a certain clientele.

One of the comments on the YouTube vid is:

“leans over and turns on the 3D printer.......”

Someone just needs to scan it and print this in white PLA. Same difference. Hell, getting the right STL file means you could probably add some friggin’ color to it.
