There is definitely a mismatch, Leplant, and Gentle Giant knows it. GG (and whomever owns the property) severely underestimated the value of those sculpts. I think had the movie been a commercial and critical success, the prices would be much higher.

In an ideal world, yes. In reality companies pass along any new costs or expenses to their consumers through price increases or lower quality/quantity to maintain profit margins. Yea capitalism!
