Rocket edition size = 1,000
Whisper edition size = 100

There is definitely a mismatch, Leplant, and Gentle Giant knows it. GG (and whomever owns the property) severely underestimated the value of those sculpts. I think had the movie been a commercial and critical success, the prices would be much higher.

Yes very good. I bet they wish they charged an extra 50 or 100 now for those earlier pieces

A consumer supportable justification, is the creation, distribution, or manufacture of this product was significantly higher, and that those increased costs had to be passed on to the consumer to maintain profitability. In an ideal world, yes. In reality companies pass along any new costs or expenses to their consumers through price increases or lower quality/quantity to maintain profit margins. Yea capitalism!
