E~Speaking as a woman (who's birthday is Valentines Day) I think I can offer you some solid advise. It is
Never a good idea to group a holiday and an anniversary together. Especially Valentines Day. Valentines Day has been commercialized into the holiday of "Love", if you try to incorporate the Anniversary into the same celebration, she will think you selfish, shallow and lacking imagination. She will feel that you didn't think she was worth the time, the effort or the $$ to give consideration to on both days.
It does suck, but this is how most women think. You want things to go smoothly.....you need to lavish your affection on her to no end on Valentines Day. You want to give her
surprises......balloons at work, flowers in her car, dinner out, and a beautiful piece of jewelry or nightwear. Nothing too fancy, an nice pair of earings with her dessert, or a teddy just before bed. She will need to feel that it is all about her. If she is a smart women, she will do the same for you.....(you know without the earings or Teddy....but hell maybe thats what you want....what do I know.) Heheheheh
Another little tip.....Write something meaningful in the card. Women always keep the cards (as evidence....) Pay someone to write something meaningful, but make sure you memorize it before giving it away. LOL! You might even try mailing this so that she actually gets it the day before, this will eliminate some of her anticipation and your
surprises will have greater worth.
Come your Anniversary, you want to do things that she wants to do, you want to ask her what she wants, and be willing to comply.
Ordinarily I don't get involved in matters of the Heart, but what the Hell! It's good advice. Good Luck
