Very rarely TBH, but still a cool feature to have. In terms of light up, I have the obligatory terminator pieces and a few prop replicas, but one of the best IMO is the Blade diorama . . . awesome light up

I have this fear that the lights might burn out or something. So I only turn them on when I am showing somebody the piece.

I turn it on when I get them to make sure it works but I don't do it anytime after.

sometimes when the kids ask...but other than that just the one time to check them out. The Sentinel on the first X-Men dio is comforting though, lol.

Once and a while for me - which reminds me, I really want to pull all of the batteries out one of these days...

Yup; that pretty much sums it up for me. Also many of my pieces are displayed in a manner that makes it awkward to light them up.
