I do know from experience how costume makers can drop the ball and ruin a piece.

for Instance My Joker, I have a full set of new outfits being made from Jackets to pants etc and a new Body(that was my fault) from Kato who is a excellent artist in re creating small scale clothes.
the amount of money lost on that project is crazy, into the thousands ! but I had to do it.
with Companies like CM , it would be difficult for them to make new sets of clothes for 250 pieces or so.
getting it right the first time is a dream as of lately.

I have 29 joker jackets, 10 pair of pants, 12 vest ,
13 bodies , 5 head sculpts that will never be used .

with the Reeve I anticipate maybe 2 bodies, 2 sets of costumes and maybe 4 head sculpts to get everyhting perfect.(in my eyes) still learning to sculpt in 3rd scale .

Thanks guys, glad Chris is on this project.
Can't wait to see your supes bobby. I know it will be killer.

Costumes are the hardest! Im in LA and still havent found a competent costumer maker! I bought the wife a sewing machine and sent her to a class!

If folks only knew the headaches...

Chris I actually removed my post and sent it to you in private. In hindsight it seemed like it might be taken the wrong way so I thought best to PM.

Sorry Bob, I guess I shouldn't have put the comparison pic with the CM up there. This thread shouldn't have been about me venting my frustration with CM's effort. I'll remove the comparison pic.

This statue is going to be INCREDIBLE and I'm excited to see the head added to this!

Yeah - I know what you mean Mike. It's absolutely amazing that they managed to pull off this extremely difficult part of the costume THREE TIME SMALLER than the real thing (which as you say is already difficult to do at full size).

Glad everyone likes it so far. Wait until you see the cape emblem!
