Halogen light bulbs

Will the typical halogen lights IKEA sells for inside a Detolf damage a statue such as fade the paint due to long term exposure? Just wondering because I just got myself one of these lights for my Detolf and it gets warm quick

Not only are LED's better for avoiding heat but they also bring out the statues true paint colors. With your typical halogen, everything is washed in yellow.

I have my statues surrounded by torches. I feel the flickering flames really bring out the vibrant colors and give the statues some life.
