I guess I'm in the minority, but I prefer the colour on the SS version. This may now become a pass for me.

I don't feel that way at all...in fact, I have to put this up with any portrait on a 1/4 collectible.

This has easily got to be one of the top 5 most realistic portraits I've ever seen.....its the way the skin is painted in relation to the rest of the statue. I think its the eyes that make this so damn realistic.

Wow....I'm floored right now! He has jumped up to my most anticipated behind Magneto.

The detailing on the quiver.....the belt buckle...everything is great so far.

SS defiantly looks more comic like where as XM looks like a snap shot from a movie.. XM's is defiantly more realistic looking... Love the face

IMO, those bright colors SS used made him look a bit to flamboyant....

It's funny because everyone who has been saying XM looks too anime-ish.....can't say that now about this Hawkeye!

There is a HUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE difference in the paint app on XM as opposed to SS. The paint app on the SS one is so simple (even though brightly colored).

I used to be the owner of the SS PF and liked it quite a bit. This has now become a no contest. The XM Hawkeye, from the painted up proto, blows away the SS one IMHO.

The pose I always preferred on the XM one, and the paint app now makes this numero uno.

.

You don't find it odd that Cap, Thor, Widow and even Hulk all have a comic look with sharp features, and they put a realistic chin and face on Hawkeye?

I guess I am more of a comicbook purist. I would take a comic version over a "realistic" version every time.

This is still a killer hawkeye. Congrats to those getting him.

It all depends on who sculpt them. Each artist has their own distinct style.

I love the sculpt, especially the pose. I just wish the face was a little closer to Cap and Thors.
