Darth Vader Empire Strikes Back ARTFX 1/7 statue announced at SDCC
According to Rebelscum.com Kotobukiya announced it's plans for a new Empire Strikes Back 1/7 scale ARTFX Darth Vader during the Star Wars Collectors Panel at this years San Diego Comic-Con. It also seems like Koto is looking to add "electronics" to this figure. Most likely function LED lights.

Look at all the upcoming SW ARTFX+ stuff like Yoda & Obi-Wan Kenobi. Hope they do a Lando eventually. Don't really need another R2-D2 though, should have paired Yoda with Obi.

they already did a light up vader in this scale. I was hoping for a new character.
the 1/7 scale has been sorely neglected by koto.

I'm glad they're actually doing something in this line, but Vader is the last character they need to be tackling. There have already been four ArtFX Vaders.

Thought they were going to show more The Force Awakens merchandise but read they might be showcasing them in Star Wars Celebration later this month.
It's a good opportunity for new Koto/SW collectors who missed out on the previous Vader ArtFX releases though.

So basically this is just the ArtFX+ statue scaled up? I wonder if we'll see them do that for more of them.

I think this is great. Love the ArtFx+ pose. Just couldn't get into the 1/10 scale for Star Wars. This is more than likely bought.
