There's some weird faint white potentially paint run off on his chest? It's not easy to tell, so I can live with that, but there's a 4cm crack on his neck. It's the paint cracking but if you touch it and it's pushed in, you can see there's a gap between the paint and the bust. Weird, but it's not that noticeable but I definitely do not want to have a large paint chipped in the future. Other than those flaws, everything was very clean. Much better paint apps than most of Sideshow's offering lately.

Thanks man, and it ain't much, it's a very small movie viewing room built on a tight budget anyway.
Yup slightly damaged unfortunately.
But unless I tell you I doubt most people would even see it, so not too bad if they can't find replacements and offer me a partial refund. If the paint does chip off, I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.

Ok, finally got one of this myself (direct from Gabe, nonetheless! ) and I was pleasantly surprised.

The sculpt on this is SUPERB, and the detail is some of the best Ive seen on a life-sized bust (down to the leather texture and stitching!) and the paint job was pretty good too. Also, there were NO BACK SQUIGLY/SCALESS on mine. So I dont know whats up with the couple others posted here.

I can also safely say he is definitely life-sized. He would factor out to be about 8 - 8 & 1/2ft tall, which is in line with his RE3 appearance, but not his RE:ORC appearance.

Here are front/back photos of the stock piece right out of the box:

Now, all that being said an done, I always planned to modify him, sooo...

New skin paint (3 more shades & 2 more highlight tones, & 2 different clear coats)
All wounds, scars,etc, repainted.
Tentacle repaint (more accurate to game & movie).
Teeth paint (more shading and highlighting, and glossing)
Eye glossed
Buckle and button chromed
Filled and weighed bust (now weighs 45lbs).

*pardon the slight paleness of the last 4 photos, dont know what the camera was doing. Piece is actually darker)*

Congrats mate. It is an awesome sculpt. I can see the black squiggles on yours too though (second pic of the back). Perhaps they are better blended than they were on the others. Either way, congrats

There were some black markings/smudges but they thankfully weren't full blown marker swirls, and there was definitely some paint over them (even before I painted it).

It's a really a nice piece even as-is out of the box, and definitely an eye catcher as he's practically Predalien bust size.
