A few odds and ends

Hello all,

I've been a member here for a few years but haven't been very active, I mostly just popped in and lurked around. A big reason was that I previously didn't have a decent workshop and couldn't get any projects done. Well, now I finally have a bit of time and space to start working on some projects that have been collecting dust.

I'm a collector of all sorts of things, model kits, statues, movie props etc.

I've got a ton of stuff yet to retrieve from my mothers attic in NY but here's a little bit of my diverse collection here in San Diego.

Oh and please pardon the dustiness, I've had some remodeling going on in the house and it's just everywhere

Got this from 2009 SDCC. Spider-Man & Carnage are on their way.

I've got a ton of Spidey & Venom stuff, most is not on display right now.

The picture on the wall in this one is me zombified

I love the Dark Knight Movie Masters from Mattel, they're really well done.
I've got a bunch of other figures on display too but you guys have probably seen them all 100 times already.

This guy here is probably not such a big deal to a lot of people.
It came with the Amazon Edition of the Ghostbusters PS3 Game.
It's pretty cool though that it was actually sculpted by Steve Johnson, the original Slimer artist.

You may start to see a trend here, I'm a HUGE Ghostbusters nerd.

Thanks, here's a little more.

The recent 6" Mattel Ghostbusters.

The Poster on the left is signed by the complete cast.

Which finally brings me to the main course...

1:1 Scale Proton pack replica complete with lights and sound.
It took me about 6 months to collect the individual parts and build her.
She weighs just under 40 lbs.

Here's another prop I need to hurry up and finish.

And speaking of unfinished... Some of you may recognize these.
I've had these for a few years and have been afraid to attempt them
until they could have the attention and care they deserve.

Lastly for tonight, this glove was made by my buddy Ross over at DreamGloves.com

Love those 12inch Ghostbusters. Too bad they are really hard to get in Belgium

Nice framed posters!

Thanks! I've got a bunch of old Bowen stuff and Horizon Kits from years ago I still need to unpack and snap some pics of. I have a homemade Iron Man Arc Reactor that I need to hurry and finish up soon too.
